We started in Cairo, where I finally saw the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx in real life — a total bucket-list moment! Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the history really fun to follow. The Egyptian Museum was packed with treasures and stories.

Next, we did a full-day trip to Alexandria. I loved the Mediterranean vibe! The Citadel, the Catacombs, and the modern Library of Alexandria were all impressive — a great contrast to the rest of the country.

Then came Aswan, which was peaceful and beautiful. We visited Philae Temple, took a boat on the Nile, and just soaked in the relaxed vibe. I didn’t expect to love Aswan this much, but it really surprised me.

Luxor was a major highlight. Standing in front of Karnak Temple and walking through the Valley of the Kings was surreal. You can feel the history in the air. BAS arranged a private Egyptologist for us, and it made all the difference — we learned so much in a fun and engaging way.

After all the sightseeing, we got to chill in Hurghada. The beach was perfect, the snorkeling was colorful and fun, and the resort was just what we needed to recharge. But then came the surprise

Marsa Alam was a dream! Quiet, untouched beaches, amazing coral reefs, and a night desert safari with stargazing that I’ll never forget. It felt like a secret part of Egypt that not many tourists get to experience.

The whole trip was smooth and stress-free. BAS Tours handled everything — transport, guides, hotels, and even last-minute questions. I felt safe, welcomed, and really taken care of the entire time.

Tarek’s stories brought history and daily life together in such a fascinating way, giving me a much deeper appreciation for Hurghada and Egypt’s culture as a whole.
